ThuroType (aka Sean ‘Glass’)

Sean Glass (Thuro Type)Born in 1981 on Long Island New York, Glass was creating music at the same time as he was learning to read and write, making the need for music composition and experimentation basically hard-wired into him. Playing instruments and song writing since twelve, recording and producing songs by eighteen, tied together with over 15 years of audio engineering, he is now that ‘No Boundary’ Producer/ Artist steadily brewing up tracks with his refined blend of organic and electronic instruments. Laced with punchy drums and usually mixed with a moving vocal, he hits his audience with vibrant, thematic pieces known to reach listeners at a more personal level.

Im So Tired  -(feat. Bigface and Charlie Wishen)

Glass wouldn’t dare classify or describe himself as one genre, he refuses to limit himself there. Refered to as a “Jack of all trades, master of some”, he has a trademark sound, but his style always varies. Through life being indulged in almost every music known, you can hear how he chooses to fuse elements of each into his songs. “Each genre has its own unique sound or energy that gives it its identity. I feel I’m just in tune with those strengths and they just flow out of me at different times while song building”. Each track he makes has its own vibe. “Imagine being in an ice cream shop mixing all your favorite flavors together, sprinkling it with the best toppings, That’s exactly what I’m feeling when I make my music!”

Higher

His Inspirations: Originators and innovators of their own style and sound. Mostly, the once underground or eccentric artists or producers that have created and now define a genre or sub-genre.

Catwalk Couture (Don’t Stop) -(feat. Bigface)

Though he is in tune with the mainstream, he credits his exposure to more unconventional music the reason for his well-roundedness. He now makes his music not only for his fans, but also as background music for TV shows, film, and commercials, as well as singers and rappers that reach out to him daily to collaborate. Not only an artist and producer, Glass is a full-time audio engineering at his studio and for his company Thuro Type Music/ Publishing. Hey Sean,

I just checked out your music, nice beats! A good production sound you’ve got going too. I hope it’s cool I mention a potential opportunity to share your music.

I run an online creative community that just relaunched called HypedSound — we have a ton of music and a nice community going already. Some of the features of the site include the ability to upload all you audio/video/photos to one simple, clean profile as well as sync to your existing social networks. So, for example, you can pull in your YouTube, SoundCloud, and Instagram content all into one profile. A centralized hub for your creativity.

I’d love your feedback on the idea and the site if you have any interest. Always looking to get a conversation started. Here’s the link if you’d like to join the community or just want a profile as an easy way to centralize your content for your audience:
